Day 1: Arrival in Paro – Transfer to Thimphu
Upon arrival at Paro Airport, you will be greeted and transferred to Thimphu (approx. 2 hours). En route, stop at Chuzom to witness the confluence of Paro Chu and Thimphu Chu rivers. Upon arrival, check in and explore Thimphu at leisure. Visit Tashichho Dzong, a historic fortress and seat of the Bhutanese government. Overnight stay in Thimphu.

Day 2: Thimphu Sightseeing
After breakfast, proceed for a full-day Thimphu sightseeing tour. Visit National Memorial Chorten, Buddha Dordenma (Buddha Point) for panoramic views, Changangkha Lhakhang, and the Takin Preserve Centre. Explore the National Library, Institute for Zorig Chusum (traditional arts school), and Royal Textile Museum. Overnight stay in Thimphu.

Day 3: Thimphu to Punakha via Dochula Pass
After breakfast, drive to Punakha (approx. 2 hours). En route, stop at Dochula Pass (3,100 m) for stunning Himalayan views. Visit Punakha Dzong, located at the confluence of Pho Chhu and Mo Chhu rivers, and explore the Suspension Bridge. Overnight stay in Punakha.

Day 4: Excursion to Phobjikha Valley
After breakfast, proceed for an excursion to Phobjikha Valley, home to the endangered Black-Necked Cranes (seasonal). Enjoy the serene landscapes and natural beauty of this glacial valley. Return to Punakha via Wangdue Phodrang. Overnight stay in Punakha.

Day 5: Punakha to Paro
After breakfast, drive to Paro (approx. 4 hours). En route, visit Simtokha Dzong, one of the oldest fortresses in Bhutan. Upon arrival in Paro, visit the National Museum (Ta Dzong) and Rinpung Dzong, known for its traditional Bhutanese architecture. Overnight stay in Paro.

Day 6: Paro Sightseeing – Taktsang Monastery (Tiger’s Nest)
After breakfast, proceed for a hike to Taktsang Monastery (Tiger’s Nest), Bhutan’s most iconic landmark perched on a cliff. The trek offers breathtaking views of Paro Valley. Alternatively, a horse ride option is available (at additional cost). Later, visit Kyichu Lhakhang, one of the oldest temples in Bhutan. Overnight stay in Paro.

Day 7: Chele La Pass Excursion
After breakfast, drive to Chele La Pass (3,988 m), the highest motorable pass in Bhutan, offering panoramic views of the Himalayan peaks including Mount Jomolhari (weather permitting). Visit Paro Airport View Point for scenic valley views. Overnight stay in Paro.

Day 8: Departure from Paro
After breakfast, transfer to Paro Airport for your onward journey, marking the end of your memorable Bhutan tour.
